Dear Madam/Sir,

As the Director General, I am grateful for your continuous support for the ASEM-DUO Fellowship Program. The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs was gracious enough to offer cooperation in holding the 3rd Expert Meeting in Paris, France. The date was proposed for Tuesday, May 30th, 2006. This meeting will signify two valuable aspects; it is to be the first meeting held in Europe after two consecutive meetings held in Seoul, Korea. We hope that European partners would benefit an easy access to Paris and thus show high attendance. In addition, it is the first meeting after having been endorsed for its second phase of 2006-2010. Having gained recognition for its accomplishment in educational exchanges in ASEM framework, ASEM-DUO Fellowship was stepped up for its second phase in ASEM Summit in Hanoi in 2004.

The topics include review of progress in ASEM-DUO programs and review of any need to revise implementation guidelines including Core Principles  to name a few. Your comments and feedback are welcome. After gathering your input, we will further develop into more concrete issues.
