Announcement of Call for the 1st ASEM-DUO Essay Contest

The ASEM-DUO Fellowship Programme is one of the flagship initiatives in ASEM Education and contributes overarching ASEM objective of people-to-people connectivity and balanced mobility. Since 2001, the ASEM-DUO Fellowship Programme supported over 4,400 university students and professors in ASEM member countries who were engaged in two–way educational exchange between Asia and Europe institutions for further study, research, or joint lecture.

Now, we are pleased to announce the call for the 1st ASEM-DUO Essay Contest opens from February 14, 2023, to June 30, 2023, KST. The Secretariat hereby encourages the awardees to share how their exchange had created, supported, or affected their career path; that is to say, their career path could have been quite different, if there were no support from the ASEM-DUO Fellowship. Their experiences during the exchange need not be included since those experiences were already submitted with their mission reports in the past.

The awarded essay will be published on the ASEM-DUO website or other channels for ASEM Education purposes with the aim of sharing good practices and promoting the ASEM-DUO Fellowship Programme to the respective officers in ASEM regions.
