The ASEM-DUO Secretariat appreciates your continued support and interest in our fellowship program.

We are pleased to announce that Germany became one of the contributing members of ASEM-DUO in 2021. The German Government will contribute the fellowship fund to the DUO-Korea Fellowship Program, and support the exchange between Germany and Korea. Application for DUO-Korea 2021/2022 will be updated in early April 2021. The Secretariat welcomes the German Government and looks forward to the cooperation in the upcoming years.

Also, we would like to inform you that the Belgium/Flemish Government decided not to prolong the DUO-Belgium/Flanders Fellowship Programme as of the academic year 2021/2022 due to the changes in priorities of the Ministry of Education. Therefore, there will be no call for DUO-Belgium/Flanders 2021. It has been established in 2011 and supported the exchange between Belgium and 4 Asian countries for almost 10 years. We thank the Belgium/Flemish Government’s contribution to the balanced mobility between two regions and hope that there will be new opportunities for cooperation in the future.
