DUO-Thailand was launched in 2006 by the Commission on Higher Education (CHE), Ministry of Education, Thailand. Other than the Core Principles of the ASEM- DUO Fellowship Program, DUO-Thailand restricted the areas of exchange to 9 areas namely Health Sciences, Tropical Medicine, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, Neuroscience, Software and Digital Technology, Fashion Design, and Logistics. In addition, transfer of credits earned at the host institutions was also compulsory for the student exchange 1. Implementation Guideline
